Most Amazon sellers think they have a traffic problem.
But the data often tells a very different story. I recently analyzed a Customer Journey dashboard for a brand, and here’s what we found:

💹 819 people visited the product page
❎726 left without taking any action
That’s not a traffic issue. That’s a conversion and targeting problem.

At the same time:
✅ New-to-brand customers dropped ~31%
✅ Sales from new customers also declined
✅ Repeat customers increased… but from a very small base
✅ Most buyers are still one-time purchasers

So what’s really happening?
⭕️PPC is bringing the wrong audience
⭕️Broad targeting + weak search term filtering = clicks without intent
⭕️Listing isn’t converting cold traffic
⭕️New customers don’t trust you yet. If your main image, title, and offer don’t hit instantly, they leave
⭕️No retention system
⭕️People buy once… and disappear

Here’s the shift in thinking that matters: You don’t scale by just increasing traffic. You scale by aligning 3 things:
✔ Right traffic (high-intent keywords)
✔ Right message (listing that matches intent)
✔ Right offer (to convert and retain)

Because sending more traffic into a leaking funnel just means… bigger losses.
Fix the leaks first. Then scale.
