Most Amazon sellers think they have a traffic problem.
But the data often tells a very different story. I recently analyzed a Customer Journey dashboard for a brand, and here\u2019s what we found:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u274e726 left without taking any action
That\u2019s not a traffic issue. That\u2019s a conversion and targeting problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time:
\u2705 New-to-brand customers dropped ~31%
\u2705 Sales from new customers also declined
\u2705 Repeat customers increased\u2026 but from a very small base
\u2705 Most buyers are still one-time purchasers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So what\u2019s really happening?
\u2b55\ufe0fPPC is bringing the wrong audience
\u2b55\ufe0fBroad targeting + weak search term filtering = clicks without intent
\u2b55\ufe0fListing isn\u2019t converting cold traffic
\u2b55\ufe0fNew customers don\u2019t trust you yet. If your main image, title, and offer don\u2019t hit instantly, they leave
\u2b55\ufe0fNo retention system
\u2b55\ufe0fPeople buy once\u2026 and disappear<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here\u2019s the shift in thinking that matters: You don\u2019t scale by just increasing traffic. You scale by aligning 3 things:
\u2714 Right traffic (high-intent keywords)
\u2714 Right message (listing that matches intent)
\u2714 Right offer (to convert and retain)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because sending more traffic into a leaking funnel just means\u2026 bigger losses.
Fix the leaks first. Then scale.
